An NFC (Near Field Communication) tag is a small, wireless device that utilizes radio waves to communicate. It can be used to transmit and store key data.

All managed hives are NFC tagged and scanned every visit. This ensures that all management activities and key colony metrics and observations are tracked by our hive management system resulting in a highly accurate and detailed data driven approach to ensuring the long term wellness of the colony.
